Do not turn the computer off.

Turning off the computer could cause sensitive data or evidence to be compromised.

Disconnect the computer from the network.

Connection to the network could allow the attack to continue.

If on a corporate network, stop all noncritical traffic at the firewall.

Begin documenting everything related to the attack.

This includes times, dates, and any other related information.

Do not go beyond your training.

(e.g. logging in to a computer can destroy evidence unless done properly)
